SCED focus areas are to support and promote local businesses and organizations. The organization encourages community involvement by coordinating community events that will generate resources for community enhancement projects, while working closely with other community organizations.

SCED places the local businesses the center of community health by initiating and proactively participating in various events. It is where the organization delivers the value to community members through successful completion of projects, delivery of products, and alignment to value streams.
