Peterson Brothers Event
With hundreds of people in attendance to enjoy spring weather, burgers, and the well-known Peterson Farm Brothers, the SCED was grateful for all the event sponsors that made this opportunity and the event a huge success. Local radio station, KBRX was present to deliver additional entertainment in asking trivia questions and awarding prizes. Two of the three talented brothers performed, Kendall and Greg. The audience were entertained and educated through the event that highlighted the importance that agriculture makes in society.

Quarter Auction, also known as Ladies Night Out, is an evening of quarters, paddles, fun atmosphere and an opportunity to embrace the bidding fever! This annual event is a FUN, FUN evening that gives the community an opportunity to engage in various activities that puts a bidder in a position to win prizes from all price ranges. Proceeds from this event is being used to complete the landscape around the recent Digital Sign on main street. This is one event you will want to participate in every year!
Ribbon Cuttings
Ribbon cutting marks a significant moment in the business and the owner(s), a great way to promote, and a great opportunity for the business owner a chance to say a few words about the business. SCED proudly supports the newest members or the great milestones that business owners contribute to the economic vitality of the community.
FUTURE PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
The SCED promotes bringing people together for progress. In doing so, the forward thinking is creating a change that is for the better. The money we have raised in the past years has enhanced the economic development and brought an improved quality of life to our community. Continued financial support will enable us to fulfill future projects such as: landscaping around the new digital sign on main street, address daycare facility shortage, and additional residential housing.
